Days after ZTE launched the Axon Pro 9, ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia has announced the launch of their flagship smartphone, the Nubia Z18, in China. The phone features Dual rear cameras and a FullVision display.

ZTE Nubia Z18 sports a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. The phone features a tiny notch for the camera, similar to the Essential Phone. The screen covers 96% NTSC color gamut and has Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Like every other flagship, the Nubia 18 as well comes powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset with Adreno 630 GPU. It comes in either 6 GB RAM with 64 internal storage or 8 GB RAM with 128 GB internal storage. The phone runs on Nubia UI 6.0 based on top of Android 8.1 Oreo.
In the camera department, the Nubia Z18 has dual 16 MP rear cameras. The primary shooter offers OIS with EIS, Phase Detection Autofocus with a large f/1.6 aperture. The second 16 MP camera has an f1/.6 aperture. On the front, the phone houses an 8 MP wide-angle selfie camera with a f/2.0 aperture.
The Nubia Z18 packs in 340 mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 4.0 standards. For connectivity, the phone comes with 4G VoLTE, 802.11ac Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and GLONASS. The phone comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. For Audio, the Nubia Z18 has DTS+D-Bass surround sound. The phone weighs 172 gms and is 8.55 mm thick.
Pricing and Availability of Nubia Z18
The Nubia Z18 comes in Midnight Black and Nebula Red color. The phone is priced at CNY 2799 for the 6 GB RAM variant, while the 8 GB RAM variant would cost CNY 3299. Nubia has also announced a Limited Edition Van Gogh Starry Night Collector’s Edition smartphone which is priced at CNY 3599. The phones will go on sale in China starting on September 11, 2018.
