Nokia 7.1 Plus has been certified by TENAA. Also known as the X7 in China, the phone is expected to launch in China, on October 4, 2018. The phone will come with a notched display on the front, that we have seen in other Nokia phones as well, including the Nokia 6.1 Plus and the 5.1 Plus.
The rumored specifications of the Nokia 7.1 Plus include a 6.18-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2246×1080 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The brand new Octa-core Snapdragon 710 SOC will power the smartphone, with Adreno 616 GPU. The phone will be available in 4 GB RAM with 64 GB storage and a 6 GB RAM with 128 GB storage variants. There’s also room for storage expansion with microSD cards up to 400 GB in size. The phone will ship with Android 8.1 Oreo, with an option for upgrading it Android 9 Pie.
The 7.1 Plus will offer dual rear cameras with a 12 MP primary shooter and secondary 13 MP shooter, similar to the one found on the 7 Plus. The front-facing cameras will offer a 20 MP sensor for selfies.
The Nokia 7.1 Plus will come with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The battery sees a tiny reduction in size with 3400 mAh battery fueling the smartphone over a 3800 mAh unit found on the original 3800 mAh battery. Similar to its predecessor, the 7.1 Plus will come with fast charging support.
