After launching the iconic Nokia 3310 with the new design in India recently, HMD Global has finally brought the three Android phones into the Indian market – the Nokia 6, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3. Coming in the three price ranges, the smartphones were earlier launched in some markets and it was already confirmed that HMD Global, the company that holds the right to sell devices under the Nokia branding, is launching these phones globally.
Nokia 6
The Nokia 6 comes with a Full HD 5.5-inch display and the device has a precision-milled aluminum, the 6000 series metal for the unibody design on the exterior, and the display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Internally, the Nokia 6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot offering storage expansion support for up to 128GB. On the optics side, it is a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera combination.
The Nokia 6 is going to be available as a Dual SIM model in India and while there is a Dual speaker setup offered on the device, the Nokia 6 also has Dolby Atmos support. There’s a lot offered on the connectivity side including Wi-Fi, Cat. 4 LTE with VoLTE, NFC, and Bluetooth 4.1. The sensors included in the device are Accelerometer (G-sensor), ambient light sensor, e-compass, Hall sensor, fingerprint sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, NFC (sharing). There’s also a 3000 mAh battery offered in the device.
Nokia 5
Nokia 5 is a smaller device although having a similar power as the Nokia 6. The phone has a 5.2-inch HD display with the Corning Gorilla Glass support and even this phone has a similar exterior with an Aluminum unibody. There is Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage, with a MicroSD card slot offering storage expansion support for up to 128GB.
The Nokia 5 has a camera combination of a 13-megapixel rear and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. While the sensors included are Accelerometer (G-sensor), ambient light sensor, e-compass, fingerprint sensor, Hall sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, NFC (sharing), the device has a 3000 mAh battery embedded. For the connectivity, there is no difference from what is given on the Nokia 6.
Nokia 3
The most basic of the three smartphones is the Nokia 3 that offers not just some compromised specs but also a smaller size, with a 5-inch HD display and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Internally, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage, with the MicroSD card support even on the Nokia 3.
There’s a difference in the camera as well, as the Nokia 3 has a combination of 8MP + 8MP rear and front cameras. While there is a 2630 mAh battery given on the phone, there are Accelerometer (G-sensor), ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor, NFC for sharing as the sensors.
What’s common among the three phones is the presence of Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and it is the stock Android interface. There are multiple color options for all the three devices.
Nokia Mobile Care to offer service in over 300 cities and Pick-up-and-drop service in another 100 cities.
The Nokia 3 is priced at Rs. 9499. The Nokia 5 is an offline-exclusive offering at Rs. 12899. The Nokia 6 is being priced at Rs. 14999 and it is going to be available only on Amazon India.

Overpriced, especially the Nokia 3 & 5! But I’d recommend for stock Android experience, build quality and Nokia aftersale services.. ✌️
I think Nokia6 and Nokia3 will be the main attraction in mid-range and budget category, it sure is overpriced but they provide a lot of value for the money certainly better than the Samsung’s overpriced J-series!!
