HMD Global, a Nokia brand licensee, has updated their entry and mid-range level smartphones, the Nokia 5, 3 and 2 with newer hardware. The new phones are called Nokia 5.1, Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 2.1, respectively. All the three phones come with a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion, up to 256 GB, while the Nokia 2.1 is limited to 128 GB. The Nokia 5.1 and 3.1 are Android One phones, whereas the Nokia 2.1 runs on Android Go. The Android One program from Google focuses on providing the devices with up to two years of OS upgrades and up to 3 years of monthly security updates.
Nokia 5.1
The Nokia 5.1 comes with a 5.5 inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2160x1080p. The 18:9 display is protected under an unspecified version of Gorilla Glass. The phone is powered by Mediatek Helio P18 chipset with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU. It comes with either 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage or 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo.
As for the cameras, the Nokia 5.1 comes with a 16 MP rear facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture and phase detection autofocus. The 8 MP selfie shooter has an f/2.0 aperture along with the 84° wide angle lens on top.
The Nokia 5.1 comes with a 3000 mAh battery and a rear mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone has support for 4G VoLTE, 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. For connectivity, the phone comes with a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a micro USB port and FM Radio.
Pricing and Availability of Nokia 5.1
The Nokia 5.1 will be available in Copper, Tempered Blue and Black designs. The pricing of the phone starts at EUR 189 (USD 219/ INR 14,831) and will be available starting from June.
Nokia 3.1
The Nokia 3.1 features a 5.2 inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels. The 18:9 display is protected under a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla glass. The phone is powered by a MediaTek MT6750N chpset with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU. It comes with either 2 GB or 3 GB RAM and 16 or 32 GB of internal storage, respectively. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Nokia 3.1 comes with a 13 MP f/2.0 camera and an LED flash. The selfie camera on the front has an 8 MP sensor along with an 84.6° wide angle lens and an f/2.0 aperture.
The phone is fueled by a 2990 mAh battery. The phone lacks any sort security feature, such as fingerprint scanner or facial recognition. For connectivity the phone comes with 4G VoLTE, 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS.
Pricing and Avilability of Nokia 3.1
The phone will be available in Blue/Copper, Black/Chrome and White/ Iron colors. The phone will be available from June, starting at EUR 139 (USD 159/ INR 10,715).
Nokia 2.1
The Nokia 2.1 packs in a 5.5 inch HD IPS LCD display that has resolution of 1280×720 pixels. The display still has a 16:9 ratio and and is protected under a Gorilla glass, with anti-fingerprint coating. The phone packs in a Snapdragon 425 chipset & Adreno 308 GPU with 1 GB of LPDDR3 RAM & 8 GB of internal storage. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go edition.
The Nokia 2.1 comes with an 8 MP rear camera which has autofocus and an LED flash. There’s also a 5 MP front facing camera for selfies. The phone can record videos at a maximum resolution of 720p at 30fps.
The 2.1 from Nokia boasts a massive 4100 mAh battery. It supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS with GLONASS. The phone has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, FM radio support and dual speakers.
Pricing and Availability of Nokia 2.1
The Nokia 2.1 will be available in three colors – Blue/Copper, Blue/Silver, Grey/Silver. The phone is priced at EUR 99 (USD 115/ INR 7750) and will be available starting from June.

Three of smartphone are coming with decent specification apart pricing is not looks so good at all. overall nokia’s steps toward more android one program is only thing which is good.
