Nokia is bring not on or two, but more than three devices at the MWC 2017 event in Barcelona that is scheduled towards the end of the month. One of them is the entry-level smartphone, the Nokia 3.
VentureBeat had leaked the information about the expected launch of these bunch of phones, but NokiaPowerUser has revealed quite a few specifications of the Nokia 3 smartphone, and also has put up the pricing information already. Here’s what you need to know.
A render of the device shows the shape and placement of buttons to be similar to the Windows Phone devices that were a part of the company a couple of years back. The Nokia 3 is said to be coming with a 5.2- or 5.3-inch display with the 720p resolution, and what will power the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor (quad-core chipset at 1.4GHz) along with Adreno 308 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone will have 16GB internal storage but there’s nothing known about the availability of a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion.
It is also said to have a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel fixed-focus front-facing camera. Just like the already launched Nokia 6 smartphone, the Nokia 3 will be running Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
While the announcement is scheduled for MWC 2017 event when the keynote is held by HMD Global-led Nokia, the phone might enter the market in March-April and the price is said to be €149, which is about Rs. 10000 in Indian currency.
