Motorola has launched its third iteration of its Z Play, the Motorola Moto Z3 Play. The Z-series phones from Motorola are built around the Moto Mods, which allows users to modify their phones with the available mods. The new smartphone comes with a taller 18:9 display while still retaining a similar footprint as the previous gen Z phones. The Moto Z3 Play’s similar design, is a testament to Motorola’s commitment towards the Modular smartphones, something which the Korean giant LG has shied away from.
The Motorola Moto Z3 Play features a 6.0-inch FullHD+ Super AMOLED display, with a resolution for 2160×1080 pixels. The modern 18:9 display is protected under Gorilla Glass 3. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 636 chipset with Adreno 509 GPU. It comes with 4 GB of RAM with either 32 GB or 64 GB of storage to choose from. The phone runs on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Z3 Play has dual rear cameras with 12 MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a secondary 5 MP camera for capturing depth information. The rear camera comes with Dual Pixel AutoFocus and is assisted by a dual-tone dual-LED flash. For selfies, we get an 8 MP front facing snapper with an f/2.0 aperture. The phone ditches the front-facing LED flash for the screen flash.
The Z3 Play comes with a 3000 mAh batttery with 15 W TurboCharge support, for a quick top-up. The power button now resides on the left, while the fingerprint scanner sits comfortably on the right. The phone also comes with face unlock, for added security. Although the phone isn’t waterproof, it does come with the usual Moto splashproof coating.
The phone comes with a modern USB Type-C port but does lose the 3.5 mm audio jack. To make up for the lack of a headphone jack, the phone comes bundled with a USB Type-C to 3.5 mm adapter. The phone is just 6.8 mm thick, which does come with a few compromises, like the lack of a headphone jack.

The phone is priced at BRL 2,299 (INR 39,906), in Brazil, while the phone along with the battery mod is said to arrive later in the US with a price tag of USD 499 (INR 33,781). The pricing and availability of the phone in other markets is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Specifications are good but without headjack and this kind of pricing will not make it buyer’s first choice, thanks
The specs from the Moto Z3 play its a great but considering the price its a not great to buy it for such a specs it offers overpriced smartphone. Better to choose the other smartphone in the market which provides great specs at this price with some more high end specs which performs well #GTMobiistarGiveaway #GizmoArmy
Design and hardware wise looks good also enough powerful as well but price tag is heavy which puah it out of the competition, moto needs to launch this at competitive price range.
