Motorola has officially introduced the Moto G Turbo Edition to India. The Moto G Turbo was launched in Mexico last month and the company was constantly teasing about its launch in India on Twitter from some time. The device is launched in the mid-range dual SIM smartphone segment.
The Moto G Turbo Edition sports similar specifications as that of the Moto G 3rd Generation with a bump in SoC (Snapdragon 615 in Turbo Edition) and additional Turbo charging feature which is said to give up to 6 hours of battery backup with just 15 minutes of charge. The device comes with a Turbo charger to help with the Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 compatible smartphones.
The smartphone sports the same features and specifications as the Motorola Moto G 3rd Gen having a 5-inch HD IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It comes with a better SoC, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Quick Charge 2.0 compatibility compared to the Snapdragon 410 in the Moto G 3rd Gen. It is coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB onboard storage which is expandable using microSD card. The camera specifications remain unchanged with 13MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera. It supports Dual SIM, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
The Motorola Moto G Turbo will be available in two variants of Black with DeepSea Blue back and White with Slate back. The device will be available from December 10th from 12PM exclusively on Flipkart. The Moto G Turbo is priced at Rs. 14,499 and will be coming with some launch offers for three days.
With fast charging and a better processor to support it along with a Turbo charger, the Moto Turbo edition will surely appeal to the users with its decent pricing competing with the numerous smartphones in this segment by Chinese manufacturers.
