Alongside the Motorola Moto E5 Plus, Motorola India has also announced their latest entry-level smartphone, the Motorola Moto E5, today, at an event in New Delhi. The new smartphone comes with a modern 18:9 display and a Snapdragon processor.
The Motorola Moto E5 features a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels. Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 425 with Adreno 308 GPU. It comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage, expandable up to 128 GB using a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with zero added bloatware.
In the camera department, the Moto E5 comes with a 13 MP rear facing camera that has an aperture of f/2.0 and pixel size of 1.12um. Unlike the E5 Plus, the Moto E5 comes with only Phase Detection AutoFocus technology. An LED flash assists the rear camera in low-lighting conditions. To the front, the phone greets you with a 5 MP front-facing shooter, helping which is a selfie flashlight. The phone can record videos at a maximum resolution of 1080p at 30 fps.
The Moto E5 comes packs in massive 4000 mAh battery that charges rapidly through the bundled 10 W Rapid Charger. The phone features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which is housed inside the Moto dimple.
As for connectivity, the phone comes with 4G VoLTE, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, GPS, aGPS & GLONASS. The E5 comes with all the important sensors such as Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, and a proximity sensor. The phone weighs 174 gms and is 8.95 mm thick.

The Motorola Moto E5 comes in Flash Gray and Fine Gold colors. The pricing of the smartphone is set at INR 9,999 and will be available across all Moto Hubs in India.
