Micromax has launched their latest 4G enabled smartphone called Canvas Xpress 4G in India. The device has been launched today in an event in New Delhi. The company has recently launched another 4G enabled smartphone, the Canvas Blaze 4G+. The device comes in an already competitive price range with many competitive smartphones.
The number of 4G users will be rising exponentially in the coming months, as companies like Reliance Jio and Vodafone will be launching 4G services to join Airtel, the device will be exclusively sold on Flipkart. The Canvas Xpress 4G Q413 sports a 5-inch HD IPS display having resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels with Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Commenting on the launch, Vineet Taneja, CEO, Micromax Informatics, said, “With the belief that great technology does not come at a price, we already have 13 products under the Micromax brand in our 4G portfolio ranging from 6499/- to 14999/-. We are further looking to ramp up our 4G portfolio and 30% of our smartphones are already 4G capable. With the launch of the Canvas Xpress 4G, Micromax has ensured that great specifications with LTE capability is available to everybody at a disruptive price thereby spurring the 4G adoption in the country.”
The smartphone is powered by a 1 GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor with Mali-T720 GPU. It is coupled with 2GB DDR3 RAM and 16GB internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB using microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.

The device sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, OmniVision sensor and 2MP front facing camera. It is powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It has Dual Support including support for both TDD-LTE Band 40 and FDD-LTE Band 3 for India.
The Micromax canvas Xpress 4G Q413 is available in Blue color and is priced at Rs. 6,599. It is being sold in exclusive partnership with Flipkart from today. There is a double data offer for Airtel customers for 6 months. Lenovo P1m is another device which was recently released having similar specifications but with a bigger 4000mAh battery and a better 5MP front facing camera.
