Micromax has announced their latest smartphone under the Nitro series of smartphones which are targetted at the mid-range users. their latest offering is the Canvas Nitro 4G which is priced at Rs. 10,999 into the already popular Nitro series with devices like Canvas Nitro A311, A310 and canvas Nitro 2. The Canvas Nitro 4G comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display with resolution of 720×1280 pixels, it is covered with oleophobic coating for increased protection along with the Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The Canvas Nitro 4G is powered by a Snapdragon 415 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz with Adreno 405 GPU, which is paired with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of storage which can be expanded using microSD card slot up to 32GB. The device comes with 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and dual LED flash, it has a 5-megapixel front facing camera as well.

The Canvas Nitro 4G is powered by a 2500mAh battery which gives one full day of battery life. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and comes with obviously 4G LTE connectivity as it is named after that. The smartphone offers other connectivity features like Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and 3.5 audio jack.
The Canvas Nitro 4G will be available in offline and online stores and is priced at Rs. 10,999. Micromax has launched this device to compete with other companies which are launching devices supporting 4G, and Lenovo recently became the biggest smartphone brand in India. Micromax which has the habit of launching multiple devices into the market will surely be launching multiple devices which will be 4G enabled and obviously be affordable.
