Micromax is back into the game with the launch of Dual 5 last week in India, and we did review the device as well. And now according to Mahesh Telecom, the Micromax Bharat 2 is now available to purchase in India for Rs. 3,499. The Bharat 2 is the latest Android-powered powered smartphone in the company’s Bharat series which also includes Bharat 1; which is the cheapest 4G VoLTE powered featured phone that was rumored a while ago. Though the device isn’t officially available yet, it indicates that the launch is right around the corner.
Micromax Bharat 2 Specifications:
The Bharat 2 sports a 4-inches FWVGA display that one would expect from an affordable smartphone. It is powered by a Quad-Core processor with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage with a microSD card slot for memory expansion. The device runs on Android Marshmallow right out of the box.
Talking about the camera, there is a 2-megapixel rear camera with Flash and a 0.3-megapixel front camera. The biggest USP of the Bharat 2 is the 4G VoLTE making it one of the cheapest buy with LTE support in India. Other connectivity features include WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS. A 1300mAh battery for all your battery requirements.
Availability and Price: The Micromax Bharat 2 is priced at Rs. 3,499 in India and is available via Offline retailers across India and the official launch is expected soon.
