Meizu has launched their latest smartphone, the MX6 which was unveiled at an event in Beijing. There have been a lot of leaks from the past few weeks and finally the device has been launched officially sporting a 5.5-inch Sharp-made Full HD display with 2.5D glass over it. The design is typical to the Meizu brand and we can see that the antenna bands placement has been taken from the Meizu Pro 6 along with a very slim body.
The Meizu MX6 is powered by a deca-core Helio X20 processor with (2x [email protected], 4x [email protected], 4x [email protected]) and Mali-T880MP4 GPU. It is coupled with 4Gb of RAM and 32GB internal storage. The device comes with a full metal unibody having a width of 7.25mm which is quite impressive. One the main aspects of the device is the rear camera with a 12MP Sony IMX386 sensor having f/2.0 aperture and pixel size of 1.25µm. This makes the camera in the MX6 at par with some of the flagship smartphones in the market.
The front camera in the Meizu MX6 is a 5MP shooter. The device sports a m-Touch 2.1 fingerprint sensor on the front of the device below the display which is located in the home button. It comes equipped with a 3060mAh battery which is pretty impressive considering the slim profile of the device. The battery supports m-Charge technology which lets you charge the device from 0-100% in just 75 minutes using the 24Wh fast charger and USB Type-C port. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Flyme OS 5.5 on top.
