LG has launched their latest smartphone in the mid range called the LG Zero which comes dressed in an all-metal body having decent look and finish. The LG Zero is the international variant of the LG Class which was launched in Korea back in September along with Germany, Singapore and Russia.
The LG Zero takes the LG G series design and the volume rockers and the power button are placed on the back of the device below the camera module. The LG Zero sports a 5-inch HD display with resolution of 720 x 1080 pixels resolution and comes with 294ppi pixel density. It comes with “Arc Glass” design at the edges to achieve that slimmer profile.
It is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor which is found on the LG Class as well. There is a difference between the class and Zero in terms of RAM, the international variant or the Zero comes with 1.5GB of RAM compared to the 2GB RAM in the Class. It is powered by a 2050mAh battery and comes with 16GB internal storage and expandable up to an impressive 2TB using microSD card.
The LG Zero sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, the front camera specifications are not revealed yet. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with no news about the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The device measures 142×71.8×7.4mm in dimensions and weighs 147 grams in weight. It comes with the following connectivity features 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, and Micro-USB.
The LG Zero will be available first in in Taiwan starting this week and it will be later available in other markets like Asia, Europe and Latin America. The pricing and availability of the LG Zero Worldwide will be announced after the official launch in the particular regions. The LG Class was priced around Rs. 22,500 and we can expect the pricing to be similar for the LG Zero.
