LG has introduced two new smartphone in its X-series which are said to be showcased in MWC 2016 at Barcelona. With the LG G5 the company’s flagship also being launched in MWC we can expect both these devices to be introduced alongside the G5 on February 22nd.
LG is said to be launching the X series smartphones to cater to specific requirements of users who prefer mid-range smartphone, like some need great camera but are happy with moderate specs in other segments. The two devices also specifically are concentrated on these aspects, with the X cam having great camera and the X Screen having a second screen.
Specifications of LG X Screen:
- Display: Primary display is a 4.93-inch In-cell HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and a second 1.76-inch screen above the main display with 520 x 80 pixels resolution.

- Camera: 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera

The LG X Screen features a 4.93-inch In-cell display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution along with a secondary 1.76-inch “Always On” LCD display with resolution of 520×80 pixels resolution which is similar to the one expected in LG G5. It is powered by a 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage space. The camera a 13MP rear and 8MP front camera. It is being launched with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
The device is powered by a 2300mAh battery and comes with 4G LTE connectivity. The device is available in Black, White, and Pink Gold colours.

The LG X Cam as the name goes is concentrating on the camera aspect sporting dual cameras on the rear while it features 3D bending glass to get that curved finish on the front. It comes with a 5.2-inch full-HD In-cell display with resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. The X Cam is powered by 1.14GHz octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory.
The main selling point of this device is the camera which is seen in the name itself. It comes with 13-megapixel and a 5-megapixel dual rear cameras with LED flash, and also sports a 8-megapixel front camera. The X Cam also runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by a 2520mAh battery. It comes in Silver, White, Gold and Pink Gold colors.
