LG Electronics India has officially launched the LG Stylus 2 Plus smartphone in India. This smartphone comes with upgraded features from the LG Stylus and adds to the user experience. Even the stylus pen on the Stylus 2 Plus is an upgraded one from the previous rubber-tipped pen.
The smartphone comes with a 5.7-inch 1080p IPS Quantum display and a 1.4GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor powers it. There is 3GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage, while a MicroSD card slot helps the storage expansion by a further 200GB.
The LG Stylus 2 Plus runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and the LG UI is layered over it. There is a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, both supported by a LED flash. The stylus pen that is given here has a nano-coated tip, which increases accuracy. As expected, the UI brings along a few special features that enhance the usage of the stylus.
Pen Pop feature toggles a pop-up menu when the stylus is removed to offer shortcuts to Pop Memo and Pop Scanner. The Pen Keeper prevents the stylus from being misplaced by displaying a pop-up message when the phone is detected as being in motion when the stylus bay is empty.
The device comes with a 3000 mAh battery and there is support for 4G LTE with VoLTE. The other connectivity options included are WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. The LG Stylus 2 Plus is priced at Rs. 24,450.
