With the images being shared, it looks like that latest flagship device by LG which is G5 will be sporting a Dual Camera set up. The images shared on Reddit shows the typical Volume rockers and Home button set up along with Two Camera lenses on either side of LED Flash.
The LG G5 is said to be having a 16MP along with 8MP camera sensors as the rear camera set up. This kind of set up was earlier spotted in many devices like the HTC One M8 Eye, Xolo Black and the recently upgraded Xolo Black 3GB, Huawei Honor 6 Plus etc. There is nothing much we can take from the image but according to the user who has uploaded the photo the device sports a full metal body. The user has also shared some Benchmark scores to confirm the G5’s internals.
According to the Reddit user, the device sports a 5.3-inch Quad HD display with pixel density of 640 ppi and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM. The camera set up is the major talking point with an expected 16MP + 8MP rear camera set up with LED flash and a 8MP front facing camera. There might also be laser auto focus along with heart rate sensor, an IR blaster is also expected to be included.
The purpose of the dual rear camera set up is not known, we are expecting it to be mostly to help in adjusting focus after capturing the image, it would be great if there is instant HDR feature included. The location of the Fingerprint sensor is not clear. The battery is said to be non-removable which is a let down as what I liked about the LG G4 was its removable battery and the microSD card slot which is being missed in most flagships. Lets wait and see how much of this leak turn out to be true.
