LG’s G4 was all about the premium leather on the back, when it was launched. But, the other variants were also announced back then, and the only wait was for its availability. Finally, LG has released the metallic variant of the LG G4 in India, and the price set for that is Rs. 40,000.
The flagship device from LG was available in leather back and ceramic white variants, and now, the metallic one will have two color options – Titanium Black & Gold. The metallic variants have a cross square stripes that add to the looks as well as to the comfort, than having a plain metallic back.
Deepak Jasrotia, Business Head, LG Mobiles India, said,
“We have always believed in offering only those products to our consumers that complement their style in making a statement. The G4’s leather back was a step in that direction and we’ve taken it to the next step with this metallic variant of G4. The G4 is our most ambitious product of 2015 and we hope the consumers will continue to show their love for this smartphone, now in an all-new metallic avatar.”
The G4 comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD Quantum display, and under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor along with 3GB of RAM. The design is similar to how the LG G3 was, with the company sticking to the back button combination, helping in getting a subtle curvature for the phone. The 16-megapixel camera on the back of the G4 has a F/1.8 aperture, and Optical Image Stabilization 2.0 is built-in as well, and we can safely say that the camera on this device is one of the best for a smartphone till date. Even the front-facing 8-megapixel camera has a F/2.0 aperture and it takes good selfies.
The LG G4 supports 4G LTE connectivity, and has a 3000 mAh battery. The device supports Android 5.1 Lollipop, and although there is 32GB internal storage, a MicroSD card slot supports storage expansion.
Just to note, the LG G4 was launched in India for Rs. 51000, and it was the leather back variant that was available.
