Letv, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer will be launched their first smartphone, the Letv Le Max in India around mid-January which was earlier set at 5th January, this date will be seeing the preview event in Delhi. The Le Max by Letv is a huge device sporting a 6.33-inch QHD display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the device apart from the huge display has some space left out at the bottom of the device making even bigger to hold in hand. The device has a 64-bitt Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 processor with 4 x 1.5GHz ARM A53 along with 4 x 2.0 GHz ARM A57 and Adreno 430 GPU. It is coupled with 4GB DDR4 RAM and two variants based on internal memory at 64GB and 128GB.
The Letv Le Max device cannot exactly be called a smartphone or a tablet but comes in the phablet category runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop based EUI. It measures 167.1 x 83.5 x 95mm in dimensions keeping it sleek yet big and weighs in at 204 grams which is quite decent. It sports a 21MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Sony IMX230 Sensor, OIS, f/2.0 aperture, dual ISP support. The front camera is a 4MP shooter with OmniVision OV4688 sensor along with an 81.6-degree wide angle lens.
Located below the rear camera set up is a fingerprint sensor with square shape. The device will be powered by a 3400mAh battery which looks quite underpowered looking at the screen size, resolution and the processor at hand the company could have done better by including a better and higher capacity camera. It comes with connectivity features like 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and NFC. It comes with USB Type-C port, MHL 3.0 along with Wireless HDMI and LeHiFi and the audio chip is built in by AKG.
At the Bengaluru event the company has confirmed that the Le Max will be accompanied with the launch of other smartphones as well like the Le 1 and Le 1Pro which were launched earlier this year. the pricing of the device in India has not been revealed yet.
