The Lenovo Vibe S1 reminds us of the Samsung Galaxy S6 in a few ways, though it is just a bit smaller with a 5-inch 1080p display, and there is 3GB of RAM included under the similar glass and metal external combination. The glass is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
The phone is internally powered by Octa-core Mediatek MT6752 processor along with 3GB of RAM, and there is 32GB internal storage, while the slot for MicroSD is a hybrid one, so if you are using a MicroSD card, then the device becomes a single-SIM unit.
One of the interesting features of the Vibe S1, is its front-facing camera setup. It is a dual-camera with 8MP one to take the picture, while the 2MP one helps understand the depth of field, and then software helps in editing the pictures, blurring the background and do a lot more. On the back is a 13-megapixel shooter with dual-LED dual-tone flash.
Pearl White and Midnight Blue are the two color options that the phone will be available in, and the devices will come packed with a non-removable 2500 mAh battery. It looks sleek, resembles something like the Galaxy S6 from the bottom, but the price will keep it in the mid-range segment. We expect it to be around Rs. 19999, because the price internationally is is USD 299. Stay tuned for the updates about the launch.
