Lenovo India has officially launched the Vibe K5 Note smartphone in India, after a series of teasers that detailed a few things that were different from what is already available in China. The K5 Note comes with the 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with Smart Brightness feature.
As for the processor, the Lenovo K5 Note comes powered with the MediaTek Helio P10 processor, an octa-core CPU, along with 3GB / 4GB of RAM available for multitasking, as teased earlier. It is only the variant in India that is getting the better RAM capacity. Along with this, the phone comes with 32GB internal storage and there is a MicroSD card slot for the storage expansion.

The K5 Note runs Android Marshmallow OS with the Vibe UI layered over it. According to the company, this is one of the lightest UI with a secure zone for separate apps and data. Lenovo has made sure that just like the K4 Note, the Lenovo K5 Note also offers a lot when it comes to entertainment, with the support for VR and the Wolfson Audio Hub with Dolby Atmos audio support. There’s a 3-mic system for the audio input and noise control.
The device comes with the TheaterMax technology support with the ANTVR headset and this time, there’s a TheaterMax controller as well. It is a Bluetooth controller for which Lenovo has partnered with Amkette. The device has got a fast fingerprint scanner that is programmable. For gaming enthusiasts, Lenovo has tied-up with Amkette to bring the Evo Pad 2 as a precision controller for TheaterMax gaming.

The phone is available exclusively on Flipkart and it will start selling from August 4th (23:59 on August 3rd), with some offers alongside the device. There will be champagne gold, graphite grey and Platinum silver color options. The phone is priced at Rs. 11999 for the 3GB RAM variant, and Rs. 13499 for the 4GB RAM variant.
