The Lenovo Vibe K5 is officially launched in India, and it comes as a successor to the Lenovo A6000 smartphone, with some much-needed upgrades. The device was already launched in China and the timing seems right for the device to enter the Indian market where there are a lot of devices from the newer brands.
The Vibe K5 with a metal body has a 5-inch 720p display and under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 processor (octa-core 1.5GHz chipset) along with Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. A MicroSD card slot allows for storage expansion by a further 32GB.
The cameras offered on the Lenovo Vibe K5 are similar to the ones included on the K5 Plus, as we see a 13-megapixel camera on the back with an LED flash, and on the front is a 5-megapixel camera. The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with the Vibe UI layered over it. The Dual SIM phone supports 4G LTE connectivity.
Lenovo has been doing well with the audio output in the recent times, especially with the headphone output as some of the recent offerings had the inclusion of Dolby Atmos Audio, which is provided even in the Vibe K5, with the Lenovo’s TheatreMax experience.
Again, just like in the Vibe K5 Plus, the newly announced Vibe K5 has a 2750 mAh battery. Check out the Lenovo Vibe K5 Specifications to know more.
The Vibe K5 will go on registrations on 13th June starting 1PM exclusively at Amazon.in and the first flash sale will take place on 22nd June 2PM. Priced at Rupees 6999, the K5 will be available in Gold, Silver and Grey color options.
