Lenovo which had teased earlier by posting an image on Social media with the tagline of #KillerNote – A New Age Dawns earlier this month has officially announced the launch date. There was no mention about the name of the device but with the “Note” mention we are considering it to be the next variant of the K3 Note by Lenovo.
Today the company has announced that the KillerNote will be launched on January 5th 2016 in India at an event held in New Delhi. With the success of the K3 Note in India there are high hopes with the latest Note device from the company. From the image we can see that the device sports a metal body, at least the borders are metal clad.
We are also expecting the device to sport a Fingerprint sensor along with the metal build if priced around the Rs. 10,000 category will be a killer deal with most of the devices in competition either having fingerprint sensor or a metal body and not both. With 4G LTE inclusion in the K3 Note it turned out to be one of the most selling devices with 4G LTE in the market. We are expecting it to carry on the FullHD display along with an improvement in the Camera set up.
With the K3 Note running on a MediaTek MT6752 SoC along with 2GB RAM, it seems obvious that we will see a 3GB RAM upgrade and have to see if Lenovo plans to stick with a Mediatek SoC or jumps to the Snapdragon Processor. With just few days left for the launch we will be updating any official update about the specifications in the coming days.
