LeEco had announced the Le Max Pro recently running on Snapdragon 820 SoC and it was the first smartphone to be powered by one. Keeping that in mind LeEco is bringing the device into the market to make sure that Le Max Pro will become the first smartphone with the processor to go one sale as well. CEO Jia Yueting posted on weibo stating that there will be 1000 units of Le Max Pro being available for purchase at a price of 1999 yuan which is approximately $305 or Rs. 21,000.
The devices are engineering models and not the final retail units and we are expecting the pricing to be a bit more than this if you are getting excited about the price tag. The device sports a 6.33-inch Quad HD display wit resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels similar to the Le Max. It is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 64-bit processor with Adreno 530 GPU.
The device will be coming with 4GB of DDR4 RAM and 64GB internal storage space. It will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow based EUI out of the box. The Le Max Pro will has a 21MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash along with Sony IMX230 sensor and dual ISP support. The front camera is a 4MP shooter with Omvision OV4688 sensor and 81.6 degree wide angle lens.
The Le Max Pro will be powered by a 3400mAh battery and comes with connectivity features like 4G LTE with VoLTE, 802.11ad 2×2 MU-MIMO, Tri-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 with APT-X, GPS, NFC and additional features like Fingerprint reader with Qualcomm Sense ID.
