Lava International has launched two new smartphones, the A88 and A71 in the budget 4G segment, they join the Lava A71 which went on sale earlier this week. Both the devices are budget friendly and come with 4G connectivity similar to the Lava A71. Both the Lava A88 and X11 sport a 5-inch display but the A88 comes with a FWVGA display with 854 x 480 pixels whereas the X11 comes with HD display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution.
Both the devices run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and Lava is promising upgrade for A88 and X11 to Android Marshmallow 6.0. The Lava A88 is powered by a 1.5GHz Quad-core processor coupled with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal memory which is expandable using microSD card. The Lava X11 is also powered by a 1.5GHz Quad-Core processor which comes with 2GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage space expandable using microSD card.

The Lava X11 sports an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera both having LED flash. The device comes with connectivity features like 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS similar to Lava A88. It is powered by a 2500mAh battery, the device has good design with golden band running on the side of the device along with back panel which has diamond pattern like appearance over it.

The Lava A88 sports a 5MP rear and 2MP front facing camera both having LED flash and the device is powered by a 2000mAh battery. The smartphone has 512MB of RAM which is quite low according to today’s standards and wonder what made Lava opt for such low RAM in a 4G enabled smartphone which does not seem practical.

The Lava X11 is available in Crystal blue and White with Gold colors, it is priced at Rs. 7,999. The Lava A88 is available in Black and White colors and is priced at Rs, 5,499 both the devices will be available form February third week.
