U.S-based smartphone manufacturer InFocus had launched four new smartphone in an event held in July, one of the devices the M812 has been officially launched in India. The other devices which were announced in July were M370, M550-3D and M808. The InFocus M812 sports a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display having Corning Gorilla Glas 3 protection. The device is built to look good and measures just 7.2 mm with anodised aluminium uni-body design, which is said to be sculpted out of a single block of aluminium.

The Infocus M812 is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz and coupled with Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage space which can be expanded further using microSD card. It sports a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and Dual LED flash, it has an 8MP front facing camera with fixed focus and aperture of f/1.8 which claims to be 80-degree wide angle lens.

It is powered by a 2900mAh battery which also supports quick charge claiming to be capable of recharging to 40% in just 30 minutes and to reach 80% it requires just 1 hour of time. It comes with standby time of up to 500 hours and HD Video playback for up to 7 hours. The device comes with connectivity features like 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi a/b/g/n/ac and GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS.
