Infocus, the US-based electronics manufacturer will be launching their latest smartphone in the entry-level segment called the Infocus M460 which will be taking on the cheapest smartphone in India with a 3GB RAM the CoolPad Note 3. The M460 will also be sporting 3GB of RAM. InFocus is planning to launch its cheapest smartphone with 3GB into India running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The Infocus M460 comes with almost similar specifications as the Coolpad Note 3 having a 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. They run on a MediaTek MT6735 chipset with an impressive 3GB of RAM at this price range was quite exclusive to Coolpad Note 3 and with the InFocus M460 there is going to be some options to choose from. It comes with 16GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB using microSD card.
The InFocus M460 sports 8MP cameras on the front and back of the device. It does not come with a Fingerprint sensor which is a big let down as the only thing keeping it below par compared to the Coolpad note 3 is the lack of a Fingerprint sensor, but we never know till the final launch of the device.
The Infocus M460 is expected to be priced around Rs. 7,499 which is very competitive pricing for a device with the given specifications, the only thing which will make it an even sweeter deal is the inclusion of a Fingerprint Sensor, maybe we are asking for too much but when Coolpad has managed to do it with such an impressive Fingerprint sensor, why not other manufacturers.
