InFocus India is all set to launch its next smartphone in India, the InFocus Epic 1, which will show its first appearance in the Indian market, or it could be available only in India later. The price is known already, thanks to the social posts made by the company, but through our sources, we managed to get all the details of the device.
The Infocus Epic 1 will come with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, and internally, it is the deca-core processor from Mediatek, the MT6797 Helio X20 chipset.
The camera combination for that price seems quite good, as we are being told by our sources that it is a 16-megapixel F/2.0 camera on the back and a 8-megapixel front-facing shooter as well. The rear camera has a support by Phase detection autofocus and a Dual tone flash. For the OS, it would be Android 6.0 Marshmallow based InLife UI 2.0 that is common on most of the InFocus phones.
It is a Dual SIM smartphone but we’re not sure if it is a dedicated secondary SIM slot or a hybrid one allowing either a SIM or a MicroSD card. It does have 4G connectivity and should probably come with VoLTE support, given how the company is actively working on providing the support for its budget devices as well.
As far as the battery capacity is concerned, it is a 3000 mAh battery that you would be seeing packed in this device and it would be a non-removable one. We are not sure about the launch date but it is imminent.
Note: One of our readers has given us this information as a tip, and we are not sure of its authenticity, but hoping it to be true as the same source has been spot on in the previous leaks.
