Huawei has introduced the P8 Lite (2017) smartphone which strangely is an upgraded successor to the two-year-old P8 Lite even though the company has P9 Lite that was launched last year. Moving along with the weird naming convention, the P8 Lite (2017) will be made available in few European markets by the end of January for €239 or $254.
The Huawei P8 Lite (2017) sports a 5.2-inches Full HD (1920 X 1080) IPS display and is powered by the company’s very own mid-range chipset; Kirin 655 SoC clocked at 2.1GHz Octa-Core processor with Mali-T830MP2 GPU. It packs 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage with a microSD card slot for memory expansion. The Huawei P8 Lite (2017) runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI on top.
The Huawei P8 Lite (2017) features a 12-megapixel primary camera with a f/2.0 aperture and on the front, it has an 8-megapixel selfie shooter for your selfies and video calls. It has a Fingerprint sensor on the rear side for extra device security. Connectivity options on board include 4G LTE, Hybrid Dual SIM, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. A 3000mAh battery is on board.
The Huawei P8 Lite (2017) might launch in Latin America as Huawei P9 Lite (2017), and the company is also gearing up to launch the P10 series at MWC 2017 event in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more details on the same.
