Huawei has officially introduced their new phone in their new P20 series, the Huawei P20 Lite on March 15, in Czech Republic. The phone has also been listed on Huawei’s official Poland website ahead of the release of the yet to be announced P20 and P20 pro, on March 27th.
The phone sports an iPhone X-like notch on the front and has 5.84 inch IPS FHD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1080×2280 pixels and a weird 19.9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Huawei’s homegrown Octa-core Kirin 659 chipset underneath which is coupled with 4 GB of RAM. It comes with an ample 64 GB of internal storage which can be expanded upto 256 GB via a MicroSD card. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Huawei’s EMUI 8.0 on top.
On the rear, the Huawei P20 Lite has an iPhone X like vertical camera placement on the back. It comes with a dual camera setup on the back and with a 16 MP main camera and 2 MP depth sensing secondary camera for the portrait shots. It also has a 16 MP selfie camera for all the selfie fanatics.
The P20 Lite features fingerprint sensor on the back. It has 3000mAh battery which supports fast charging. The phone has 3.5mm headphone jack and a Type-C port for charging, at the bottom.
The P20 Lite will come in 3 colours – Black, Blue and Rose Gold and is priced at 1,599 PLN(INR 30,450) in Poland and will ship later this month. While the phone will be priced at 8,999 Czech Koruna(INR 28,355) in Czech Republic and will be available to purchase from April 1st. In rest of the europe 369 Euros(INR 29,740) is the asking price for the P20 Lite, and is already available in offline stores in Italy.
