The event for the announcement of Nexus smartphones by Google is not far, but it won’t be holding much of a surprise, we feel. The reason for that is these numerous leaks that gave almost every information about the LG Nexus 5X, and now about the Nexus 6P as well. The high-end device is being made by Huawei, and it comes with a 5.7-inch QHD display (2560×1440 pixels resolution), which is something many might like for the fact that last year’s Nexus 6 was awkwardly large with a 6 inch screen.
The spec sheet also includes Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 810 version 2.1 processor, along with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. Since this time it isn’t a leak from any source but Google’s presentation itself, we are sure about the specs that we are talking about, except for the cameras. With a series of leaks coming out of Mountain View, we have almost all the details about the Huawei Nexus 6P with the series of slides posted on Imgur making it a public gallery.
Major camera specifications are not yet revealed, apart from the “allows in more light” there seems to be a slight bump where the camera is placed. Two new updates from the slides mention a metal unibody body and a 3450mAh battery with comes with USB Type-C charger for faster charging and quicker data transfer rates, sadly there is no wireless charging included. Dual front facing speakers are also mentioned in the slides.
One of the major features which everybody knows is Android 6.0 Marshmallow which will be running on this device giving features like Stand-by-system for the device and individual apps. There is a fingerprint sensor also included in the back of the device placed above the Nexus branding, with an option to store multiple fingerprints to grant access to other users as well.
Other features like the storage variants has also been revealed with three models of 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants and coming in four colors of Aluminium, Gold, Graphite and Frost. Gold color will only be available in Japan initially, to release it later on to make the demand for the color increase which we have seen in the older version of Nexus devices as well.
