Huawei has launched one the best smartphones in the mid-range segment in a very silent manner called the Huawei G7 Plus which is a successor of the G7. Why I am calling it one of the best is because of its build, which is premium being made up of 90% metal. The specifications of the device are decent as well to keep you updated with the latest in the smartphone world. It sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1080p resolution, it has a 2.5D glass to give better touch perception.
It is powered by Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage space expandable up to 128GB using microSD card. The device comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop with EMUI 3.1 and the company has announced the Android 6 Marshmallow update roll out by February 2016 end.
With the latest trend in the smartphone industry being the inclusion of a fingerprint sensor be it a budget or mid-range smartphone, how can Huawei miss out on that, they have included a Fingerprint sensor on the back of the device below the camera module. The company has stressed more on the camera in the ad for the Huawei G7 Plus launched recently, it has a 13MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), dual-LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, sapphire lens, RGBW sensor and impressive for low light photography.
Huawei G7 Plus comes with a one-touch image capture option by placing your finger on the fingerprint scanner while doing any work the camera app opens instantly in just 0.5 seconds and captures the image fast, it also supports gestures for notifications or navigation through the home screen. It comes with a 5MP front-facing camera, the device is powered by a 3000 mAh non-removable battery which is said to give 320 minutes of talk time and will last up to 300 hours on standby.
The Huawei G7 Plus is available in three colors of Silver, Gold and Gray all of which will looks classy with the metal body. The device is priced at US$ 385 which is approximately Rs. 26,000. In Hongkong the device is priced at HK$ 2,980 and in Taiwan it is priced at NT$12,900 as it is said to be available first in Asia.
