At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, HTC was not behind in launching any new smartphones and they launched three new smartphones in the budget category, namely the HTC Desire 530, Desire 630 and Desire 825. All three smartphones are aimed at the budget market and offer something good. Both the Desire 530 and Desire 630 have similar display sizes at 5-inch wheres the Desire 825 comes with a bigger display carrying internal specs as that of the Desire 630.
The smartphones are more oriented towards the fashion conscious users, I personally loved the way HTC designed their devices and with the new sense of design around fashion brings a whole lot of style statement to the smartphones.
All three smartphones are inspired by something known as the “streetwear fashion”. The streetwear fashion is a style that you find in a lot of clothing apparel. in this style, the phones feature a micro-splash effect on the device. It makes the device look a lot funky and modern in my opinion.
Coming down to the information about the devices, the cheapest of the three is the HTC Desire 530, which features a 5-inch 720p display, a quad-core 1.1GHz Snapdragon 210 processor coupled with 1.5GB RAM. It comes with 16GB of onboard storage which can be expanded via a microSD card. The primary camera on the device is an 8-megapixel shooter whereas the secondary camera is a 5-megapixel shooter. The entire phone is powered using a 2200mAh battery.
The second in line is the HTC Desire 630, which keeps the 5-inch 720p display from the Desire 530 but is powered by the Snapdragon 400 paired with 2GB RAM. Everything else on the device is same as the Desire 530, other than the primary camera and SIM options. The primary camera is a 13-megapixel shooter instead of the 8-megapixel. The Desire 530 is a single SIM device, whereas the Desire 630 is a dual SIM device.
The last of the lot is the HTC Desire 825, which keeps most of the specifications of the Desire 630, but improves upon the display, adds the Boomsound speakers and houses a larger battery. The display on the Desire 825 is a 5.5-inch 720p display and the battery has been bumped up to 2700mAh.
All three smartphones run on Android Marshmallow 6.0 based HTC’s Sense UI. As for the pricing and availability, the phones should be available starting March but the pricing on the devices is still not known.
