A new device from the stables of HTC has been certified in TENAA in China, it is expected to be the HTC One M9e. HTC is holding a press event tomorrow, with the invites rolling out for the event which reads “double flagship new machine will be released in Hakone Japan” it was taken from HTC’s official Weibo account. Earlier this month HTC had missed the launch of Aero/One A9 which was slated for release on September 6th.
The HTC One M9e is also expected to be announced in tomorrow’s event along with the Aero/A9 or the Butterfly 3 variant in China. The One M9e sports a 5-inch full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It will be powered by a 2.2 GHz Octa-Core Helio X10 SoC which is a replacement of the Snapdragon 810 SoC seen in the M9. Supported by 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which is expandable up to128GB using microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Sense UI over it.
The HTC One M9e sports a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash and a UltraPixel front facing camera. It supports 4G LTE and other connectivity features like WiFi 802.11ac (2.4 and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. It comes with a 3.5mm headset jack, Dual front-facing HTC BoomSound stereo speakers with Dolby audio. The device measures 144.6 x 69.7 x 9.61 mm in dimensions and 157 grams in weight. HTC has been continuing the same design from the past 3 years and this model looks like an upgraded M8 with its appearance.
The battery specifications are not yet available, the device comes in a full metal unibody design with a golden strip on the side of the device. It will be available in three colors Gold, Black and Gray. The pricing and availability details will be available only after its release tomorrow in the event with the other device which is going to be released not yet confirmed.
