HTC One M10 has been confirmed, if not the whole specifications, the name has been spotted on the company’s official website by Techtasktic. The HTC One M10 name was spotted in a survey form on their official website which confirms the name of the device.
There have been many leaks about the device sporting a 5.2-inch QHD display and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, apart from the basics there has not much been revealed in initial leaks till date. The details about the OS have been discussed, like the presence of Senso 8.0 skin on top of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS in the HTC One M10.
Looking at the earlier HTC flagships, there has not been much appreciation about the camera performance, but according to HTC Chief Financial Officer Chialin Chang this is going to change as he stated “very, very compelling camera experience” while talking about the camera in the One M10.
There has been a leak of the sample photo taken from the smartphone and the EXIF data is available which sort of confirms some details. The aperture is found as f/1.9 which is a decent upgrade from the f/2.2 in One M9 but still a bit far from the f/1.7 aperture in the Galaxy S7 flagship. The resolution found was 2250×4000 pixels with 16:9 aspect ratio which makes the resolution of 3000×4000 pixels which converts to 12-megappixel image in 4:3 ratio.
The specifications leaked till now are quite similar to what HTC has been doing with their flagships and nothing out of the box has been spotted till now. With the HTC One M10 launch date on April 11th we can just speculate about the specs and other details about the device until the official update.
