HTC’s 2016 Flagship confirmed to launch on April 12th – Details

HTC has officially unveiled the launch date of their upcoming flagship smartphone, the HTC One M10 or HTC 10. The company tweeted “we admit it. we’re obsessed …but in a good way” along with mentioning the date time and other details of the launch with the hashtag #powerof10 below. This year has started on an exiting note with Flagships from many companies making way into the market, Samsung Galaxy S7, LG G5, Sony Xperia X Performance and now HTC is launching their Flagship device.

There are three locations mentioned along with the time and the teaser asks users to visit their official website htc.com at 1pm in London, 8am in New York and 8 pm in Taipei which points at the event being a virtual reveal. HTC has not revealed their flagship device at MWC but will be revealing it on Tuesday, April 12th.

HTC One M10 launch invite

There have been many leaks of the HTC 10 as it is being called, with the complete design of the device being leaked. The features which are rumored of the HTC 10 are a 5.2-inch 2K resolution display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB of RAM . the design of the device bears an uncanny resemblance to the One A9 and it appears to sport an all metal body.

We are expecting the device to be available in 32GB ,64GB and 128GB variants and whether it comes with microSD card slot or no will be revealed at the launch. The device will feature a Fingerprint sensor in the Home button below the display. It will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Sense 8.0 UI over it. It is expected to sport a 3000mAh battery and support USB Type C.
