Huawei Honor has launched their latest entry-level smartphone in the 7-series, the Honor 7s, today, in India. The 7s was first launched in Pakistan and later in the UK. It has an 18:9 display and a MediaTek chipset.

The Honor 7s sports a 5.45-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen which has a resolution of 720×1440 pixels. The display has an 18:9 aspect ratio and a 73.8% screen-to-body ratio. A quad-core MediaTek MT6739 chipset powers the smartphone, which comes with PowerVR GE8100 GPU. The RAM and storage on the device are 2 GB and 16 GB respectively. There’s also room for storage expansion up to 256 GB via a microSD card slot. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with Huawei’s EMUI 8.0 on top.
For the cameras, the Honor 7s comes with a single 13 MP rear-facing camera which has Phase Detection Autofocus. To, the front, the phone comes with a 5 MP selfie camera. There’s an LED flash on the back as well as on the front, to brighten up your photos in low-lighting conditions.
The battery underneath is a 3020 mAh Li-Ion unit. For connectivity, the phone includes, 4G VoLTE, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, A-GPS, and GLONASS. The phone lacks a fingerprint scanner.
Pricing and Availability of Honor 7s
The Honor 7s comes in Black, Blue and Gold colors. The phone is priced at INR 6,999 and will be available for purchase exclusively on Flipkart and hihonor.in, starting September 14, 2018.
