Google Pixel series was launched back in last year, and the company has officially confirmed that the successor to the Pixel will be introduced later this year, this piece of information comes from Google’s senior vice president of hardware, Rick Osterloh himself. “There is an annual rhythm in the industry, So, you can count on us to follow it.” Said Rick Osterloh.
Though we know for sure that Google Pixel sequel is coming later this year, he wouldn’t give any specific date or timeline to follow. We know that Google will be launching the Pixel successor, but this is the first official confirmation coming in from Google. As for the pricing goes, the Pixel series was not well received due to its premium pricing, As per Osterloh “Google Pixel stays premium.”
In Addition to developing a new generation Pixel device, Google’s sketching a plan to ship out the current generation Pixel smartphones that they have in stock at the moment. Nothing much is known about the new Pixel device, expect for the fact that it will pack great internals and will stay premium just like its predecessor.
