Gionee has been launching smartphones which are competing with slimmest smartphones in the market, their latest device is going to be Elife S6 which is the fourth device in the S series after the Elife S5.5, Elife S5.1 and Elife S7. Gionee has to its name a Guinness Book of World Records as the slimmest smartphone when the Elife S5.1 was launched which was 5.1mm in thickness but was later broken by OPPO 4.85mm. So with the name of the device we can see that this device is not going to be the slimmest but thicker than the two other devices, expected to be at 6mm.
A similar device was seen in Tenaa specifications code named GN9007, which is expected to be Gionee Elife S6 and the specifications are as follows 5-inch AMOLED HD display having 720×1280 pixels resolution. The device is powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek octa-core processor and supported by 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which is expandable using microSD.

The Gionee Elife S6 comes with Amigo 3.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and comes with connectivity features like 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS. The device is powered by 3,150mAh. As reported on (Phoneradar.com), invites were posted on Weibo and were sent to media outlets as well. According to the invites the launch is going to be scheduled on November 16th. The pricing and availability of the device are not yet revealed.
Gionee has recently launched their first Made in India smartphone, the Gionee F103 which was manufactured by Foxconn in Visakhapatanam. Gionee Elife E8 the companies latest flagship was also launched earlier this month at a price of Rs. 34,999. The camera is the main feature of the device which is said to be one of the best in the smartphones present right now.
