Infinix Mobility is all set to launch the next smartphone, the company’s flagship that they are naming as the Zero 5, and we have learned from our sources a few things about the device. The phone is getting launched on November 14th in a launch event being held in Dubai, as it would mark the launch not just for the Indian market but a few other markets as well where Infinix is already present.
Now, let’s talk about what we have learned about the Infinix Zero 5. It is said that the phone will be priced under Rs. 20000, and there is a dual-lens camera combination going to be included, one of which will have a telephoto lens and the other one will be a wide-angle shooter and that is a 13MP + 12MP combination respectively. Also, although we don’t really know the size of the screen, it is going to be a bezel-less one, or a Full View display with a larger screen size and Corning Gorilla Glass protection is going to be layered over it.
With the internals, there is going to be 6GB of RAM offered and the internal storage will be 128GB with users getting an option to expand the storage further. In the price range, there are only a few options that will offer such internal capacities, but we are yet to learn about the processor and the other specifications.
The teaser video put up by Infinix Mobility on YouTube already mentions that Flipkart will be one of the major eCommerce platforms through which the Zero 5 will be available, but we are told that one more eCommerce store will have it for sale at release, which is said to be about the end of the month.
There will be multiple color options available but as the picture we were able to grab shows, there will be a red option as well. Though there are several good things already mentioned, we expect the camera to be a department where one can expect something, since the dual-lens camera combination here is not only for the depth sensing but the telephoto lens helps in the optical zoom without any loss in the details.
We are going to cover the event live from Dubai, and will be updating with more details. There will also be a live stream available for the launch, and we will share the link of the same whenever available.
