Coolpad India did take the contenders in the low mid-range category on a ride when the Coolpad Note 3 was launched. It was one of the best in its price range, and then, the company came up with an even affordable device, the Coolpad Note 3 Lite with a smaller screen. Now, Coolpad India launches a flagship product – the Coolpad Max.
Coolpad Max has a metal unibody and it comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display having Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and a 2.5D glass. Internally, the device comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core chipset clocking at 1.5GHz, and along with that is 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The camera combination in the device includes a 13-megapixel rear ISOCELL camera with an F/2.0 aperture and a Dual tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera has Phase detection autofocus and it is capable of recording 1080p videos.
Just like in the previous two devices, the Coolpad Max comes with a fingerprint scanner on the back. The fingerprint sensor not just helps in unlocking the device but also in using as an App Shortcut, Quick Capture, One Key Dial, and Switch Space.
While the device runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with CoolUI, there is one feature to talk about – Dual Space. It is the same “Dual in one” campaign that Coolpad was running, and the feature allows running two social media accounts in the same phone. Using a BiLogin feature, users can log in to two accounts of WhatsApp, Facebook, Line, BBM, and other social media applications.
The Coolpad Max has a 2800 mAh battery that supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology, which is said to give about two hours of talk time with just five minutes of charge. It is a Dual SIM phone with two Nano SIM slots, but the second SIM slot can have either a SIM card or a MicroSD card for storage expansion.

The smartphone is priced at Rs. 24999. It will be available exclusively on Amazon India starting May 30th.
