The device was in leaks since quite some time and now, GITEX Technology Week in Dubai is where the new Blackberry Motion is getting official. The mid-range smartphone from Blackberry comes with an all-touchscreen design and the details of it were flowing around with the codename Krypton.
Not all the details are known but some of the important ones include a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (exact chipset version not known) and along with that will be 4GB of RAM. The smartphone is said to have been given the IP67 certification, which is a good inclusion. It will be a Dual SIM device and while one of the major features here should be the 4000 mAh battery in the Blackberry Motion, the support for Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 is a big plus for the fast charging of the device.
The camera details are not yet provided but it is a single-lens shooter on the back of the Motion, and the phone is maintaining the design strategy that it always has, with cross striations on the back. The Blackberry Motion is going to be available initially only in a few markets and then will be followed in a few other markets.
