ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M3 Full Specifications – Expected
Before we begin, let us tell you that whatever we are sharing here are expected specifications of the ZenFone Max Pro M3 and these are not confirmed. These specifications are based on the previous phone as well as current best phones in the same price range.
The major specifications include a Full HD+ display with the size of about 6.7-inch, and it will be a phone with a very tiny notch on the top to house the camera. There are rumors that the ZenFone Max Pro M3 could be coming with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 or Snapdragon 710, and there will be variants from 4GB RAM to 8GB RAM, and storage from 64GB to 128GB. What will be interesting will be the set of cameras on the phone, as the ZenFone Max Pro M2 was not a great camera phone, so many will expect ASUS to do a much better job in that aspect this time. The 5000 mAh battery will still remain in the phone, so there will be a hard competition for the other phones to beat the ZenFone Max Pro m3 with the battery life.
Now, let’s get into each of the important aspects of the ZenFone Max Pro M3 and discuss in detail about the expected features of the phone.
Design and Display of ZenFone Max Pro M3
The design might see a change this time, with ASUS trying to get into the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro and having a glass back, which will need a protection, but the company didn’t shy away when they talked about the protection of the screen, so we might see a Gorilla Glass protection on the back glass, and the gradiant color design on the back is expected as well. The ZenFone Max Pro M3 could be seen coming with a large display, larger than the predecessor since it is the time for great media consumption and gaming and thus a large display is always needed. The resolution will be Full HD+ and the phone will surely have the Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection as ASUS had offered on the same on Max Pro M2 as well.
We don’t expect ASUS ZenFone max pro m3 to have an AMOLED display, so it might be the same IPS LCD panel, but the upgrade will be there on the design and back panel of the phone, so be excited if you like glass bodies. Just like the previous phone, we don’t see any change in the position and placement of the fingerprint scanner, which should stay on the back of the device because in this price range, in-display fingerprint sensor would not be possible for the brand to offer.
ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M3 Processor
This is one of the major important aspects of a phone to perform well and give a good experience to the users while gaming. The ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 had the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and that was well known for offering a good performance, but there is a need for latest processors only so that there is compatibility for the recent features and better connectivity as well. So, ASUS might opt for either Snapdragon 675 or Snapdragon 710, both of which are well known for great performance and have the support for all the latest connectivity options that are needed.
The Snapdragon 675 is an octa-core processor with the 4th gen Kryo CPU, Adreno 612 GPU, and there is support for Quick Charge 4.0 technology for fast charging of the phone. It is the Kryo 460 CPUs powering this mobile platform, while on the other side, the octa-core Snapdragon 710 offers Kryo 360 CPUs but there is a better gen Adreno 616 GPU offering a better graphics performance, and there is support for Quick Charge 4.0 even on that.
The processor will be an interesting part for the ZenFone Max Pro M3 and we will have to wait and watch if ASUS chooses one of these chipsets, or will altogether will go with an even better processor as there is still some time to come for the phone to be launched in India.
The variants are going to be many, since that is what ASUS has been doing with its previous phones as well. There will be 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM variants and storage variants of 64GB and 128GB.
ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M3 Camera
Now, moving on to the cameras, which we said wasn’t a strong point for ASUS in the recent past. The ZenFone Max Pro M2 didn’t have a strong camera combination, but now, the ZenFone Max Pro M3 is expected to rock the 48-megapixel rear camera but the confirmation has to be there about which sensor is it going to be – the market is well divided with the Samsung GM1 sensor and the Sony IMX586 sensor, both of which have 48MP resolution but they differ in the capture quality and the ISP from the processor also plays a big role. The primary camera could be this and it depends on how ASUS is going to work on the secondary camera, whether it would be a regular depth-sensing camera or a wide-angle lens camera for landscape photography.
Or who knows, is it going to be a telephoto lens for lossless zoom, or we are just speculating too much and will be disappointed with what ASUS will offer in terms of camera?
With regards to the selfie camera, it will surely be either a 20-megapixel camera or a 32-megapixel one because in the selfie-obsessed market, we are seeing some pretty good phones having a great selfie camera, and so ASUS will be working on something to make a good selfie phone.
ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M3 Battery, Connectivity
The known fact would be that the ZenFone Max Pro M3 will come with the large 5000 mAh battery and that won’t change anyway since ASUS has been doing an exceptional job with the battery life of its phones since the M1. So, we are sure the company won’t be disappointing in that aspect but there is a big hope that this time fast charging support will be offered.
Since there is support for Quick Charge 4.0 from Qualcomm on the mentioned chipsets, we hope ASUS bundles an 18W charger and also the support for fast charging in the phone as the 5000 mAh battery would otherwise take a lot of time to fully charge from zero to 100%.
As far as the connectivity is concerned, there will be Dual VoLTE and 4G support with dual-standby and that is going to be anyway expected, with no expected NFC as in India, the usage of NFC is still limited. ASUS will also offer Bluetooth 5.0 on the Max Pro M3 and there will be dual-band Wi-Fi for better connectivity.
ZenFone Max Pro M3 Price in India, Availability
The ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M3 launch date is expected to be end of June 2019, or early July 2019, as the company is launching the ZenFone 6 before this mid-range champion. Also, ASUS will be looking at the launches of Xiaomi K20 and the Realme X phones because they could be launching anytime soon, and if ASUS brings them at a time when these phones are launching, they could give a great choice to the users to compete with those two phones.
The pricing of ZenFone max pro m3 would probably start from Rs. 12999 for the 4GB RAM variant and the storage would be 64GB. In case ASUS decides to bring a lesser-RAM variant, then that would probably be about Rs. 1000 lesser.
The highest variant could go to a price of Rs. 15999 to Rs. 16999 but that will be it. ASUS has been doing well with multiple offers to the buyers and thus it has been an easy choice for everyone, and the company might look to maintain the same with the Max Pro M3 as well.
So, that is all about the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M3. You might have noticed that we are talking about specifications and features only based on speculations and there is no confirmation yet, and once we get any official confirmation about them, we will be updating the article with necessary changes and will offer a timestamp of the changes.
