ASUS India has brought the ZeFone 4 series to the Indian market and and while the series has a bunch of phones, it is the Selfie phones that are getting introduced today. The company claims these phones to be the world’s most advanced selfie smartphones with the most comprehensive in-built beautification functionality. The phones launched today are the ZenFone 4 Selfie with dual-lens front cameras, ZenFone 4 Selfie with single front camera, and the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro.
One of the common features for all these Selfie phones is the presence of a softlight LED flash on the front for brighter selfies. Also, each of these phones have a Portrait mode to help in producing bokeh shots. The beautification is possible not just in the photos and videos but also while you are live streaming on social networks.
The BeautyLive app on the ASUS ZenFone 4 Selfie phones include noise cancellation technology, beautification technology, and you can enable these while streaming to Facebook or YouTube. Also, another thing that is common with the phones is the presence of a dedicated MicroSD card slot apart from the two SIM slots. There is a 5-magnet speaker included in all the devices. Also, there is commonly a 3000 mAh battery included.
ASUS ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro
The Selfie 4 Pro comes with the Sony IMX362 sensor (12MP) with the capability of 24-megapixel cameras, and along with that is a 5-megapixel camera with the 120-degree wide angle lens for the group shots. The primary camera has F/1.8 aperture and it is powered by the ASUS SuperPixel engine. One of the new features for a selfie camera is the capability to capture 4K videos. The front camera comes with a soft LED flash for helping in low light conditions.
The Selfie 4 Pro has a 16-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, EIS, and 4K video recording capability, and it is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor powering the phone and there is 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. A metallic finish design is what the device has on the exterior and it is 6.85mm in thickness.
ASUS ZenFone 4 Selfie
The ASUS ZenFone 4 Selfie has one model with two front cameras, which has a 5.5-inch HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, and a 16-megapixel camera is present on the back of the phone. The front-facing camera on the device is a 20-megapixel camera for the regular selfies while a secondary 8-megapixel camera offers 120-degree wide-angle view.
The third phone, i.e. the ZenFone 4 Selfie with the single camera on the front has some similarities to the model above but while the secondary camera is taken away, the internal specs include 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage.
Pricing and Availability
The ZenFone 4 Selfie with single front camera is priced at Rs. 9999 while the one with dual-lens front camera is priced at Rs. 14999, and the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro is priced at Rs. 23999. The devices are going to be available exclusively on Flipkart from September 21st.
ZenFone 4 Selfie is available in Sunlight Gold, Rose Pink, and Deepsea Black. The Pro version is available in Rouge Red, Sunlight Gold and Deepsea Black.
