Asus Zenfone series has been a great hit thanks to the Zenfone 2 design being accepted worldwide and multiple variants of the Zenfone 2 launched to cater to each segment like the Zenfone 2 Laser, now Asus Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 3 Deluxe smartphones have surfaced in leaked renders. According to Red Dot 21 the design and renders of the Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 3 Deluxe have been revealed. Based on these renders the Zenfone 3 comes with an aluminum body and covered with 2.5D glass on the front and back of the device.
From the images we can see that the rear volume rockers have made their way on to the sides of the device and it has been replaced by what appears to be a fingerprint scanner on the back. The rear of the camera comes with a Square Camera module with Laser Autofocus on one side and Dual LED flash on the other.
The borders of the device appear to be rounded to give it a premium look and feel. The right side of the device has the volume rockers and the power button. The front of the device has the front camera, ear piece, proximity sensor and what appears to be LED flash above the display. Below the display the trademark space with three capacitive touch buttons are seen. It also comes with USB Type C port, inclusion of fast charging is not available at the moment.
The other device which was also leaked about is the Zenfone 3 Deluxe which also sports a full metal body and comes with a Home button below the display similar to the Samsung S series and capacitive touch buttons on both sides. We think that the Home button will sport the Fingerprint sensor in it. There is only on button seen on the Right side of the device and the volume rockers might be placed on the back similar to the earlier design.
