Alacatel is ready to launch a new camera-centric device in India, named OneTouch Flash 2. The company has already sent the invites to the media houses and the device is set to launch on October 20. The main feature of the phone is the 13MP camera on the back which comes with Phase Detection Auto Focus. According to the company, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) can focus a subject within just 0.3 seconds which is equivalent to the time taken by laser auto-focus.
If we dig deeper in the specifications then we can find 5 inch Display which has a pixel density of 294 PPI and a 178-degree viewing angle. The device is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz and is based on 64-bit architecture. The processor is coupled with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and you also get 16GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 128GB with the help of MicroSD card.
The device runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box. It even supports Dual SIM and LTE. As far as the camera is concerned, you will get 13MP camera on the back along with PDAF technology and Dual-Tone LED Flash. There is a 5MP front facing camera with Soft LED flash. The device is juiced by a 3000mAh battery.
The device will be available in 2 colors; Volacanic Grey and Mica White. Alcatel OneTouch Flash 2 would be up for sale on Flipkart but there is no word on pricing as of now.
