Qihoo 360 has announced the launch of a new smartphone in its N-series, 360 N7, today in China. The phone has a modern 18:9 display, dual rear cameras, and a massive 5030 mAh battery.
The 360 N7 sports a 5.99 inch FullHD+ display with a resolution of 1080x2160p. The 18:9 display has 1500:1 contrast ratio and is covered under a 2.5D curved glass. Powering the phone is an Octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor and Adreno 512 GPU. It has 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and comes in either 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to an extra 128 GB using a microSD card. The phone runs on Qihoo’s 360 UI based on top of Android 8.1 Oreo.
The 360 N7 packs a dual camera setup on the back of which the primary camera has a 16 MP sensor and an aperture of F/2.0. It also supports Phase Detection Auto Focus technology. The secondary camera on the back is a 2MP shooter with a F/2.4 aperture, which captures depth information. To the front, we get an 8 MP selfie shooter that has a F/2.2 aperture and comes with smart beauty features.
The 360 N7 comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. For connectivity, the phone comes with dual 4G VoLTE, 802.11ac dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and GLONASS. The phone has a unibody metal design.
The 360 N7 packs a massive 5030 mAh non-removable battery that can be charged at Quick Charge 3.0 speeds, ie. 9V/ 2A. The company claims that the battery can be charged up to 50% in 40 mins and a 100% in just 115 mins. For battery saving, it also comes with Hybrid Engine 2.0 technology. Despite the large battery, the phone weighs 190gms.
360 N7 Pricing and Availability
The 360 N7 comes in two color options – Moonstone White and Graphite Black. The 64 GB variant is priced at CNY 1699 (USD 266/ INR 17,900) and the 128 GB would cost you 1899 (USD 298/ INR 20,000). The phone is now available for pre-order on JD.com and 360 Mall and will go on sale on May 11, 2018. There are no details about the availability of the phone in markets other than China.
