Xiaomi, the Chinese electronics brand has been bringing out products in the smart home segment and there have been products even like the Mi smart electric cooker. Now, Xiaomi has come up with walkie-talkie devices, named as the Mi Walkie-Talkie. This is among the list of six new products that are launched under the company’s crowdsourcing brand named Mijia.
The Mi Walkie-Talkie comes with support for both Ultra High Frequency (UHF) and Very High Frequency (VHF) bands. The devices have a black and white LCD screen with the 160 x 600 pixels screen resolution. As is the basic functionality of any Walkie Talkie, the Mi one helps the users in sending voice messages by creating their own network frequencies.
There is support for location sharing, FM radio, and a USB port is given for the connectivity and charging. The Mi Walkie-Talkie is said to have a 2600 mAh battery and with that, the standby time that is offered is about eight days. While there might be no special features, but it comes with the fact that the device is launched by Xiaomi, known for the good build and functionality that are standard for most of the IoT products from the company.
Other products that were introduced include Mi Driving Recorder, Mi Smart Camera, Mi Smart Scale 2, and Mi Router HD.
