Lately, Samsung has been making a lot of news in the town, thanks to its former-flagship Note 7. Samsung Galaxy Note 7 created a ruckus in the whole tech industry when the mobile phone caught on fire and exploded. It didn’t happen once or twice, it happened several times.
These blasts made it necessary for the company to call back all the Note 7s that were shipped to the consumers. It didn’t stop here, the worst part was that even the replacement units started to blast and Samsung eventually had to call it quits on the Note 7.

Those who pre-ordered the Note 7 in India never really got their hands on the device, thanks to the chaos caused by various explosions of the phone. The customers became furious as they had to wait for several weeks and in the end, all they got was nothing.
To pacify the customers, Samsung India is now offering them a new Gear VR, Oculus Gear VR voucher worth $50, Samsung Level U headset and also a free one time screen replacement which can be redeemed within an year. All the freebies would be available to the pre-orderers on the purchase of a Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge.
Customers have the option to either redeem their freebies by going to the retail store where they booked their Note 7 or get a refund instead. Earlier, due to the delay in shipping of Note 7 units in India, Samsung had messaged the pre-order customers with Galaxy Note 7 freebies, so this is not the first time that Samsung is trying to make its loyal customers stick to the brand, and if you ask us, the Galaxy S7 Edge is definitely an excellent purchase if you are considering it.
