The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ flagship smartphones are right around the corner, and as the days pass, we are getting to see more of the Galaxy S8 and S8+. Today we have a couple more press shots which show us the glass back of the phone in Black Sky and Orchid Grey colors. As the bezels up front are narrow, Samsung has moved the Fingerprint sensor to the rear.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 sports a 5.8-inches Quad HD+ (2560×1440 pixels) curved Super AMOLED pressure sensitive display, while the bigger variant; the Galaxy S8+ rocks a 6.2-inch Quad HD+ (2560×1440 pixels) curved Super AMOLED pressure sensitive display. They are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-Core processor with Adreno 540 GPU. Samsung also has an another variant that will be region-specific, which is powered by the Exynos 9 Series 8895 Octa-Core processor with Mali-G71 MP20 GPU.
Both the models pack 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory with a microSD card slot for memory expansion. They both run on Android 7.0 Nougat with updated ToucWiz U.I on top. Moving to the camera department, they have a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/1.7 aperture, and an 8-megapixel front camera with 1.7 aperture for better selfies and video calls. Unlike Apple flagships launched recently, the Samsung flagships have a 3.5mm headphone jack. They also have a Heart rate sensor, Fingerprint sensor, Iris scanner, Barometer and are IP68 rated for water and dust resistance. In the battery department, the Galaxy S8 has a 3000mAh battery with fast Charging both on wired and wireless (WPC and PMA) charging and the S8+ packs a 3500mAh battery with fast Charging support with both on wired and wireless (WPC and PMA) charging.
Pricing: Though there are many speculations about the pricing, we are not sure if they are true just yet. The Galaxy S8 will start at €799 (US$ 859 / Rs. 56,259 approx.), S8+ at €899 €799 (US$ 966 / Rs. 63,300 approx.), New GearVR will cost €129 (US$ 138 / Rs. 9,083 approx.).
