With the Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus along with the Google devices gearing up for launch in India, Motorola has launched the Moto X style in India through the online shopping portal Flipkart starting at Rs. 29,999 for the 16GB variant. It was announced on Flipkart with a tag “Get Ready to party in 15 minutes flat with the Moto X Style on the 8th of October 2015”. The device was first announced in July earlier this year and is now being launched in India officially.
The Moto X Style comes with some impressive specifications as well, with a 5.7-inch quad-HD LCD display with Gorilla Glass protection having a decent 515ppi. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 1.8GHz hexa-core processor with Adreno 428 GPU and supported by 3GB RAM and comes in variants of 16GB/32GB/64GB internal memory which are expandable up to 128GB with a microSD card.
The Moto X Style sports a 21-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED Flash and 4k recording along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Along with style and looks the moto X Style also packs some decent specifications to make it a worthy successor of the Moto X series. Along with the device, it’s younger sibling the Moto X Play was also launched by Motorola in July. With Moto X Style announced to be running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box, we have to wait and see if the Android 6 Marshmallow update will be given to the Moto X style.
the Moto X Style was launched in August in US for a price of $399 for the 16GB variant. The Price of the Moto X Style in India is set at Rs. 29,999 for the 16GB model and the 32GB model is priced at Rs. 31,999 in two colors og Black and White. Motorola has worked on the camera aspect in the latest Moto X series, the earlier models were lagging behind the competition in the camera segment.
